SSI Advanced Specialty Diver is the next path to becoming an SSI Master Diver, a truly Advanced Course that includes four SSI Specialty program Digital Kits. After completing the four SSI Specialty programs that interest you, as well as 24 logged dives, you will automatically receive the SSI Advanced Specialty Diver recognition rating, along with your SSI Specialty program certifications.

What will I learn :

​

• During the course, you will engage in Four SSI Specialty Courses and learn how different skills and techniques for those specific specialties, such as Plan Deep Dives and using a drop tank, learn new Navigation skills like Square patterns and Natural Navigation techniques

• Complete 4 Specialty courses and accumulate dives.

• You'll learn how to plan dives and manage air consumption.

• Make 8 Dives under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional. 

• Learn New Skills and Techniques, and go over the scuba equipment you use.

 

What do I need to sign up for a PADI Advanced O/W Diver Course :

 

• You must be 10-12 years old or older.

• Answer "No" to all the RSTC Medical Forms or get clearance from a Doctor 

• If under 21 years old have paperwork co-signed by a parent or guardian.

• Need at least 4-5+ days available for training. 

 

 

Experience Required :

• Must be an O/W Diver from any Agency
