The SSI Open Water Diver Certification Course is a performance-based course with Digital online learning where you learn to dive with a dedicated Instructor, simple, safe, and Fun. On average, the course is 3 to 4 days in duration, but can take longer to fully grasp how to dive safely. This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventure as a certified scuba diver. The SSI O/W Diver Course is a Diver Certification Course NOT restricted to a Max 60ft/18m post-certification, and you can dive with a Dive Buddy and without a Dedicated Dive Professional or supervision.

What will I learn :

• During the course, you learn the basic safety guidelines and watch videos and read chapters from the O/W Digital Learning and complete Knowledge quizzes and then once here pass a Final Exam with your Instructor.

• You'll learn how to plan dives and manage air consumption

• Master basic skills and protocols with 6 confined water skill sessions

• Complete a 100-meter/yard Swim and a Float test. 

• Make 4 O/W Dives to a maximum of 60ft/18m under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional. 

• Learn 40+ Basic skills and go over the scuba equipment you use.

• And Learn to dive and gain certification to dive with a Buddy with NO Professional supervision.

• Learn how to dive with Enriched Air

• Learn to set my dive computer to Nitrox > 40%

• Learn to Analyze Nitrox Tanks > 40%

• Plan and execute Dives with and without Nitrox 

 

To sign up for an SSI O/W Diver Course :

• You must be 12 years old or older.

• Answer "No" to all the RSTC Medical Forms or get clearance from a Doctor - see the Form below 

• If Under 18 years old have paperwork co-signed by a parent or guardian.

• Need at least 3 to 4 days available for training.
