El Aguila Wreck

The El Aguila! This wreck dive is a 230-foot cargo ship built in Germany that used to run cargo around the Caribbean.
It sank in Utila Harbour twice, full of cement, before it was purchased and sunk by Anthony’s Key Resort in 1997.
When it was sunk, it hit the bottom fully intact, and it took 2 weeks for the sand to settle.
In 1998, Hurricane Mitch, a Category 5 hurricane, damaged the wreck, and it now lies in several pieces at a depth of around 110 feet.

The Odyssey Wreck

The Odyssey Wreck is a 300-foot-long cargo ship that was owned by Hyde Shipping in Roatan. After a fire in the engine room spread through the living and bridge areas, the ship was donated to the Island, where a large group of Dive Centers and resorts prepared the Wreck for sinking.
It was sunk in 2002 as an artificial reef and now rests in Sandy Bay at a depth of about 115 feet. At 300ft long and 85ft tall, his ship is sure to impress!
Gary, our Owner, was part of the team that prepared the Wreck for sinking in 2002 !!!

The Prince Albert Wreck

The Prince Albert Wreck is a 140-foot tanker that was sunk intentionally in 1985.
Originally, the Nicaraguan-owned vessel was used to transport Nicaraguan war refugees to Roatan.
Currently sitting upright in 40 to 80 feet of water, the tanker is covered in soft coral.
The Princess Albert sits in the channel near Newman's Wall and Coco View Resort on the South Shore of Roatan.
The sand area is great for Eagle Rays and small macro marine life.

Mr Bud Wreck

The Mr. Bud wreck is a small 75ft Conch boat from Jamaica. Intentionally sunk in the mid-1990s as an artificial reef and a dive site attraction.
The Wreck sits on its port side near the channel by Brady's Cay and Big French Cay near the French Cay Cut dive site.
The Mr Bud lies at 60 feet deep, surrounded by a vibrant coral reef teeming with marine life such as seahorses, garden eels, and stingrays. The Wreck is known for its swim-through areas, particularly the old bridge area.
A great Wreck for learning a Wreck Specialty on with plenty of bottom time to practice skills.
