SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Course (2 - 4 days)
SSI’s NEW Advanced Open Water Diver Course allows you to sample a variety of specialties before you commit to completing a full program. It’s a perfect way to experience what advanced training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you will have the chance to try out 5 different specialties (adventure dives).

This program allows you to experience five different open water dives from five SSI Specialty programs without requiring you to complete the entire Specialty. If you are unsure of your next step, this is the perfect way to advance your dive skills and experience and to identify which Specialty programs interest you.

You will earn the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Course certification after completing this program.

What will I learn :

• During the course, you learn how to Plan Deep Dives and use a drop tank, learn new Navigation skills like Square patterns and Natural Navigation techniques

• Complete the Online Knowledge Development and the accompanying presentations.

• You'll learn how to plan dives and manage air consumption.

• Make 5 Adventure Dives to a maximum of 100ft/30m under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional. 

• Learn Deep and Navigation skills and go over the scuba equipment you use.

 

What do I need to sign up for an SSI Advanced Adventurer Course :

 

• You must be at least 12 years old.

• Answer "No" to all the RSTC Medical Forms or have a clearance from a Doctor - see the Form below 

• If under 21 years old, have paperwork co-signed by a parent or guardian.

• Need at least 2-3 days available for training. 

 

 

Experience Required :

• Must be a Certified Open Water Diver from any Agency with 4 logged Dives
